Here is what I have come up with... but to keep it a surprise, I have pixelated it. Hehehehe... it's P & C for now!!


Have even found a tailor but have yet to go for measurements and fitting. I really can't wait to see my creation come to life!!! :)

New office

I just love my new office... it's modern and classy. It's right on top of Isetan at The Gardens, Midvalley. There's food and shopping galore a stone's throw away. It has a huge hugh and wifi enabled pantry. We have a birds eye view of...erm Federal Highway. Oh well, at least we know the traffic conditions before we decide to leave the office right away or better to hang around at all the cool places downstairs first.


And I love having my very own place... with my surgeon bear and all my pinky things! :)

The house-hunt

Since I have a few weekends of total freedom from my MBA, Al and I have been going around house-hunting. Looking at place after place. Indeed house-hunting is a very very difficult task when you are on a budget. We looked at mostly apartments and condos coz unless we are willing to stay far far away from civilization,(which we both do not want) we can't afford a landed place.

One place that I pretty liked was this Townhouse place in OUG. Close to my office and to civilization!! The neighbourhood is gated and guarded as well... yet maintenance fees are reasonable. :)

The houses look a bit old but nothing a fresh coat of paint cannot fix.


The neighbourhood is nice, peaceful and quiet.


Landscaping nicely maintained.


There's a pool right in the middle and a community hall thingy.


Alas!! We saw this sign on the way in...


No doggies and kitties for me??? Later while going around the neighbourhood I saw a girl bathing her dog!! Also, we saw strays-a-plenty!

Can always catnap or dognap one of 'em strays and make 'em my own. ;)

That wasn't the biggest problem. The biggest problem is, that because the developer has gone bankrupt (stupid irresponsible MBF!!) and the land title is not out... the banks will not give out a loan for this development. :(

Slumber party

Hazel & I had a chimui slumber party last night. With a 3 week gap between the semester, this is the closest we can get to a school-holiday. Though we have to work, weekends are precious!!! So we decided to use it wisely.

Started with some snacks and movies. Chick-flicks of course!! Complete with love, romance and heartwarming scenes to make you go "aaawwww..."




Then there's our beauty regime...

Had a bit of a chimui heart-to-heart chat and slept late last night. Woke up pretty late this morning and went for a dim sum brunch!! Mmmmm... I still feel kinda full from that now. :p

After a gluttony session, it was time for some pampering. We didn't have much time as she was going back to her hometown this afternoon. So we went for just a short upper-body massage here...


The masseur suggested we do a back scrub detox thingy. Hmmm... "would it be painful?" "would we end up with red raw backs?"

The masseurs said no lah... we stupid stupid believed them. It didn't feel painful to me but it did to my Sista. And the outcome?

OMG!! Ugly red raw back!!

Guess no wearing bareback tops for a week eh? :( Hope my toxins are all out and this ugliness is worth it... hehehe. The massage was good though, felt so relaxed I nearly fell asleep.

Next weekend? The new semester starts and it's back to the books!! :(

Right after our last exam, which happened to be the killer Finance paper... we went out for a celebration dinner. We surely deserved a celebration after a torturous semester!!

A new beginning

With great power comes great responsibility...


Nope, I did not get any superpowers... I wish. Hehehe...but I officially start my new role in the company today.

This marks a new chapter in my career. Yup, Spidey was right... with great power comes great responsibility. More stress, more burden, more... well, responsibilities. But somehow I am happy. Am really excited!! :)
